With a deep sense of our educational responsibility to our students, we have created a tutoring center that, first and foremost, respects the student and applies the most modern pedagogical methods. This is why we ensure our classes are homogeneous and small in size, always aiming for the students’ maximum possible performance.
Naturally, we place great importance on the way our lessons are conducted. This is the reason we chose the 60-minute teaching period, providing our students with more, and above all, higher-quality teaching time compared to traditional centers with 45-minute hours. This choice allows our teachers to conduct interactive and enjoyable lessons, organized according to the most effective educational principles. At DIAKROTIMA, the teacher begins the lesson by examining all students and reviewing previously taught material. They continue by solving queries with student participation at the board and complete the lesson by teaching the new methodology and solving selected examples.
Following the needs of our time and with technology as our ally, we created our own educational platform, the Artemis information system, with which we “open” the doors of our classrooms to you, the parents, every day. Through this system, our students gain access to a wealth of educational material, communicate continuously with their teachers beyond teaching hours, organize their schedules, and stay updated on their daily performance. Furthermore, by equipping every classroom with the latest interactive whiteboard technology, we ensure distance learning is available in case of a student’s absence, making good on our promise that at DIAKROTIMA, not a single teaching hour is ever truly lost.

The DIAKROTIMA educational group operates in the field of tutoring education for Middle School, High School, and graduate students, with a continuous increase in its student numbers in all regions where its branches operate.
In 1997, Mr. Thodoris Kalaitzidis, a mathematician and the current president of the group, created the first DIAKROTIMA Tutoring Center in Piraeus. Our ambition was and remains to provide tutoring support to our students with the sole aim of their future success.
This operating model from our pilot tutoring center developed rapidly, and based on it, more than 100 centers operate throughout Greece today.
From then until today, our work has grown more each year, and we have seen more than 25,000 of our students gain admission to top-tier colleges and universities, becoming acclaimed scientists and successful professionals.
